When Rapha contacted us at the beginning of October to show some Victoire bike during the two weeks of the Rapha Pop-Up Store in Paris, we immediately thank about creating a very unique and high-end bicycle. The very short delay added some challenge on the project, but thank to our partners, we could get all the components we needed to build a really performant road bike.   .

This Victoire Véloce reflects our vision of how a performant road bike should be. We selected the Reynolds 953 stainless steel tubing. Coming from the aeronautic industry, they have the best mechanical properties. Thanks to its high stiffness, we can reduce the diameter of the tubes to save weight and keep high performance. This frame weighs 1,6kg for a similar handling of a one made wiht Columbus HSS tubing, with bigger diameter.

We have built it with a Campagnolo Super Record mechanical drivetrain, and Tune components. The crankset is the very light THM Clavicula. The bike weighs 6,3kg in this configuration, with a perfect balance between performance and comfort.

This bike is now riding the roads around the Mont Ventoux, to be tested by the team of the French magazine L'Acheteur Cycliste. The test will be released in February 2016
