Emmanuel’s Victoire Versus Rohloff

Emmanuel’s Victoire Versus Rohloff

A simple bike, clean and timeless, here is what Emmanuel’s demand was :

I wanted a bike that enable me to ride further than the one I used. I like a lot the French fabrication and the global bespoke approach of Victoire, that leads to something unique.

Comfort, versatility and reliability were the keywords of this project. It translates into a small drop between the saddle and the handlebar, tires clearance up to 40mm and belt-drive / Rohloff drivetrain. With its gearbox integrated into the hub, this system is well known by the cyclists who travel around the world. There is almost no maintenance and the lifetime is much longer than a classic drivetrain. It is combined to the Gebla system, that enables to use classic road brakes hoods - here SRAM Rival 22. Each shifter enables to respectively shift up or down the 14 gears of the hubs.

At last, Emmanuel chose a white color for the frame for its neutral and timeless style. It matches well the red anodized parts like the Chris King headset and bottom bracket.

I am really impressed by the quality of my bike, it is above my expectations.
